The annual Glenmore CC Family BBQ took place at Riley Park on Saturday and was a huge success. The weather was fantastic, and our wonderful club members came out in force to enjoy the day. It was easily the best attended club BBQ we've ever had, with over 120 people coming along. 

Sadly there was no cricket to watch on the large field as the 1st XI had won so quickly earlier in the day, but the under-15 teams were in action on the small field. We pride ourselves on being a family club, and it was great to see so many families with their kids having a good time.

We must say a huge thank you to Canadian Western Bank for sponsoring the event and paying for all the food and drink. And, a big thanks to everyone who donated prizes for our fundraising raffle; Ken Beaumont, Secret Spirits. Absolute Baseball Academy, AA Sports, Kinetic Sports, The Garage Sports Bar, Original Joes (Kensington), Mango Shiva, and Jaipur restaurant. We massively appreciate your generosity. And thanks to everyone for buying so many raffle tickets. We managed to raise over $650 for the club!

We hope everyone enjoyed themselves on Saturday, and we look forward to doing it all again in 2017!
