Match report At the halfway point of the season, Royals are still searching for a first win after another turbulent ride at Inland Small. Parachuted into the field after forfeiting the toss, 9 man Royals were immediately in a dogfight as Strikers lifted off with 70 off the first 5 overs, an aerial bombardment that left fielders and spectators alike craning their necks towards the heavens. Adarsha and Sheshi managed to slow the scoring with some aggressive bowling, complemented by excellent catches from Chris in the deep and Glenmore's own aviator, JR. Special mention also for Manoj 'Ronaldo' Sharma, whose bright red sneakers intercepted many runs at deep gully.

JR has endured a quiet start to the Royals season - actually disappearing from the radar screen altogether at one point - but he completed an excellent all round display with an innings of 24, supported by Greg and an aggressive Sheshi cameo. Harjot accelerated the innings with a rocket like 26 before retiring hurt; but yet again' Royals lower order was unable to maintain any momentum and the innings fell away to 147 all out.
