Glenmore Cricket Club Glenmore Royals v Sunshine on Mon 06 Jun 2016 at 6pm
Glenmore Cricket Club Lost by 115 runs

Match report Royals controversial 'winning' streak came to an end at Inland Large on Monday evening as a powerful Sunshine side elected to bat first in their favorite weather conditions. The opening pair launched an aerial blitzkrieg and raced to 50 inside the first 4 overs, after which Sunshine were always in control of the match. Royals can take heart that once a full complement of fielders became available, the team never stopped trying and some excellent catches were taken; Mafaz (3 for 33) and Adarsha (only 26 conceded from 4 overs) being the pick of the bowlers.

Jason Bell made an audacious 16 on his Royals debut until lady luck punished one reverse sweep too many, and Sheshi played some fine shots at No 3 for a stylish innings of 25. Thereafter only Adarsha showed any major resistance with a pugnacious 30 retired, as Royals were content to at least bring up a 3 figure total in the last over.
