The first Glenmore CC Quiz Night was held at Swans on October 13th and it proved to be a great success. The club membership got behind it, we packed out the pub and had a very fun evening. Tony Pasternak was at the helm, stood on a box throughout yelling questions at the top of his lungs! The eventual winners were 'The Sociables', led by Rob Butler. 'WG' also won the 'Heads & Tails' game which left many wondering whether the whole evening was a 'fix'. It was a fitting farewell for Rob who leaves for the east coast in the next few days. The club wishes him and his girlfriend well in their future endeavours and we hope to see them back in cow town soon.
So, thanks to all those who attended the quiz, your participation in such events is much appreciated. The club raised $400 on the night, which is a great achievement.
