Player of the Month - Richard Harvey

 The final Player of the Month award for 2012 goes to Richard Harvey! The mild-mannered yet super competitive Englishman has enjoyed a fruitful first season with Glenmore, finishing as leading wicket taker for the club (& top wicket taker in the division) with 21 league scalps to his name. His best form came in September as Glenmore won three on the spin. And it was in large part thanks to Rich's off-spin that those wins were achieved. In the final three league games of the summer Rich picked up combined figures of 22.5-5-46-11. He took five against United Warriors and was super tight against Crown Eagles, conceding just 11 from his 10 overs while also picking up two wickets.


Not only did Rich have great success with the ball but he produced some vastly important innings coming in at number 11. Few who witnessed it will ever forget his reverse sweep for four against United.
