THE CLUB BBQ is not to be missed! On Saturday 6th August from 2pm at Riley Park, this is a great social event to get involved with all Glenmore Cricket Club members, bring along the family and enjoy some food, drink, games and the raffle! Please RSVP to the email you received to let us know how many of you are coming and any special dietary needs.


OUR JUNIOR SUMMER PROGRAM swings into action tomorrow, July 30th. It's not too late to sign up so get in contact and helps us find the next G.C.C. superstars!


G.C.C. GOLF DAY 2022 is booked for Saturday 3rd September at Heatherglen Golf club. This is an important fundraiser for the club and a great, fun day out, so please do get involved. These events help fund the club and make us the best cricket organisation to be a part of in Calgary. Reply to the email and get yourself, and anyone else you know who can also vaguely swing a golf club, to sign up and join in the fun! 


TAVERNERS played Gujarat Lions last Friday. Batting first and falling short of setting a decent total resulted in an 8 wicket loss.

BLUES had a resounding victory on Monday against SAIT pinning them down to 90/8 from their 20 overs and responding with a 7 wicket win finishing on 92/3. A notable inning from skipper, Reece Trevillion who faced 9 balls for his 30* including 4 sixes and 1 four!

ROYALS strutted home triumphant on Monday evening after setting JCC a target of 192/7 and holding them back to 86 all out for a 106 run win.

T20 2ND XI fell agonisingly short on Thursday evening losing by just 2 runs against New West Thunder. Chasing a target of 207, they found themselves stranded just short on 205/5 despite a good knock from Ahsan Javaid, striking his century from 43 balls.

THE 2ND XI played last Sunday in the 35 over competition vs St Johns 3 who batted first. Chasing the target of 131/10 after some solid bowling, the Glenmore batters struggled to find rhythm eventually being bowled out 23 runs short of the total finishing up 108 all out.
