We
are still inching into 2016, but it is time to start planning for the
new cricket season. The first place to start is to get you, our members,
paid up and registered for the coming year. Below are details of our
fee structure for this year, how you can pay your fees and a timeline of
when things will be happening between now and the first ball being
bowled. Unfortunately our fees have gone up a little this year due to
our league fees being raised $200 per team. Apologies about that.
Please,
please, please help us out by paying your fees as early as possible.
The less reminder emails we have to send the better.
And, if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask.

Any juniors (under 18) wishing to register to play senior cricket, the playing fees are 50% of those listed above.
PAYMENT METHODS

2. Pay by cheque. Make payable to Glenmore Cricket Club. Send cheques to our club Treasurer, Ken Beaumont;

3. Pay with cash. Give cash to Alex Storey at the weekly indoor sessions. This option is least preferable!
PROCESS AND TIMELINE
1. Please pay your registration fees as soon as possible, preferably by Sunday 6th March.
2.
On Monday 7th March we will start the process of electing team
captains. Only those who have paid their registration fees will be
allowed to nominate and vote on team captains.
3. Following the
captaincy elections, team captains will select their squads. Again, only
those members who have paid their registration fees will be considered
for selection.
4. Once squads have been chosen, those members
selected will be notified. Any members who paid their registration fees
but were not then selected for a squad will receive a full refund of
their playing fees.
5. Squads will be selected and members notified by Sunday 27th March at the latest.
I
should add that we will again be booking grounds during the Summer for
midweek inter-club games. Hopefully we will again have a minimum of 10
dates booked for those friendly games, so there will be plenty of
opportunities to play for those guys not selected in our competitive
squads.
UNIFORMS
Members
selected for either of the weekend squads or the T20 squad will need a
blue playing uniform. These will be available to buy closer to the start
of the season and will cost approximately $80.
Weeknight players will have the option of buying white playing shirts, which will cost approximately $40.
Details regarding playing uniforms and other clubwear will be given in the coming months.
