Match report Glenmore C.C. Blues faced off against the Rockies XI in our Rnd4 clash at Inland Park. After winning the toss and batting first, we finally batted to our potential to set a challenging score of 166/4 (20ov). Unfortunately, Rockies XI managed to chase the score to win on the second last delivery of the game after a very solid effort in the field. Some notable performances from Jason ‘Hammock’ Funnell (27 runs, 1 run out), Damian Britt (1/20 off 3.5ov, 33* runs), Amith Herath (1/34 off 4ov, 15* runs), Reece Trevillion (30* runs, 2 catches). Special thanks to Raman Dhillon, Ruchir Tullu and Vishal Arora for filling in at late notice too, very much appreciated. Well played Blues, first win due against the Tav’s for sure!
