Match report Game reduced to 15 overs per side due to weather forecast and turned out to be a close affair. Blues won the toss and elected to bat, and Reece and Aashish got us off to a great start each retiring after scoring 33 & 30 respectively. The next phase was slower scoring with the Captain involved in a couple of run outs, debate about fault no doubt to continue, but managed to post a score of 124.
Our bowlers started very well, with Reece, Aashish and Sam (guest player) each taking a wicket and the run rate increased. However, Panthers batsmen starting swinging and contacting and with only 10 fielders, found too many gaps and chased down our total on the last ball of the penultimate over.
Some very good performances from our 2 juniors, Shreshth getting his highest score and Opi's bowling was tight...looking forward to next game and with 11 players, hoping for our first win of the season.
