Match report Glenmore C.C. Blues faced off against JCC in our Rnd6 clash at Inland Park. After winning the toss and batting first, we again batted to our potential to set a challenging score of 166/1 (20ov). The Blues started strongly in the field taking early wickets which made the difference and managed to bowl out JCC for 149/8 to win the match in the second last over after some desperate lower order hitting from JCC. Some notable performances from Jason ‘Hammock’ Funnell (30* runs), Damian Britt (33* runs), Amith Herath (2/16 off 4ov, 33* runs, MOTM), Steven Schunker (2/18 off 2ov), Hari Venkatasubramaniam (2/23 off 2ov), Nathan Kerin (7* runs, 1/17 off 3ov), Trent Dunlop (1/24 off 4ov), Reece Trevillion (30* runs). Well played Blues, great first win tonight and hope to carry this form into our game against the Royals!
