Match report Royals produced another good team effort, but fell short by 14 runs in a chase of GurooBox's 145 all out. A different look to the side, with Ross Sutherland having returned to Australia, George Williams injured and run-accumulator Robin Sekhon no longer available. But the Honywood clan was back to fill the breach.

Junior performances were the high-lite for Glenmore, with 11 year-old Joshua Honywood notching 2 wickets and 12 year-old Jordan one. And they were together at the end of Royals' chase, putting on 11 between them with neither Out.

On a rock hard Westwinds outfield full of bad bounces and the usual wind, Royals bowled & fielded admirably, running out the last GB man (Mitchell to Arthur) with a ball remaining. Danish was particularly effective, beating the bat numerous times with a good length and some outswing.

It has been tough to get Royals all out this season, but the other side of that coin has sometimes been insufficient runs. On this night just 5 lost their wickets, while Mitchell & Ajay retired with their 30s not-out.

Still, with more than 1/2 the season to play, Royals have good prospects.
