The City of Calgary has unveiled plans to redevelop the site at Prairie Winds park. There are three concepts on the table, one of which includes incorporating a new cricket field into the development. Other plans have that particular space being used for a soccer field or baseball diamond. As we all know, Calgary is desperately short of cricket facilities so a new ground would be a hugely welcome.
The City is currently conducting a survey to get the public's thoughts and opinions on the various plans. This is our opportunity to show how much we would like a new ground. So, please visit this website and take the survey, lending your support to a new cricket field.
