Wasim Naqshbandi wins Player of the Month for July

For the second consecutive month, our Player of the Month award goes to a member of the Taverners...Wasim Naqshbandi.
The 2nd XI skipper has been in prime form for the Tavs this season, scoring runs for fun at the top of the order. In July he batted three times for the Tavs, retiring not out having gone past 30 on each occasion. Wasim has also chipped in with some important wickets for the Tavs this month. His combined figures are 9-1-45-4.
 
Wasim played one game for the T20 side in July, contributing a valuable 25 runs. That gives him total batting figures for July of 4 innings, 3 not outs and 119 runs.
Wasim is a great club man and we all congratulate him on his wonderful performances!
