We are extremely excited to announce our 2024 Cricket Tour to Revelstoke! Please read this email very carefully if you are interested in joining in the fun.

The tour dates are Friday 20th September - Sunday 22nd September.

The plan is to leave Calgary on the Friday morning, arriving in Revelstoke early afternoon. We will then play a T20 against Revelstoke CC on the Friday evening. Saturday afternoon we will play a 40 over game vs Kelowna Casuals. On the Sunday we will play a lunchtime T20 vs Revelstoke CC before heading back to Calgary.

Places for the tour will be somewhat limited. 16 playing tourists would allow everyone to play 2 games each. Members are welcome to come along as non-playing tourists and simply enjoy some sledging and off-field fun.

Our friends at Revelstoke CC have arranged some discount prices at the Sandman Hotel in the centre of town. The costs would range from $99 per night, if you want a room all to yourself, to $40 per night (if you're happy sharing a room with three of your fellow tourists). 

Right now we are estimating an average cost for the weekend of $150 for the travel, hotel and match fees. However, this may change depending on hotel preferences and game day costs, which we will confirm closer to the time. 

In terms of travel, we will be looking to carpool so would need enough people to drive to get everyone there and back. Gas costs would be covered.

It would also be helpful if you could let me know your hotel preferences; whether you are happy sharing a double queen room with three others (would require sharing a bed), whether you are happy sharing a double queen room with one other person (a bed each) or if you would prefer a bedroom to yourself.
