 Collegians XI, North Canberra, 1st,
2nd,  3rd & 4th grade at various times.
Australian Capital Territory indoor cricket team

GLENMORE CC DEBUT - 2006 – 256 runs in my first season for Glenmore.
1801 runs for Glenmore total so far.

BATTING STYLE - Right handed opener

BOWLING STYLE - Right arm mystery balls.

PREFERRED FIELDING POSITION - Slips but old age and slower reflexes are getting the best of me.

CAREER BEST SCORE / GLENMORE BEST SCORE - Highest score in Canada 100 for Calgary vs Edmonton
Masters /  Highest score for Glenmore 86 not out vs St Johns II.

CAREER BEST BOWLING FIGURES / GLENMORE BEST BOWLING FIGURES - 7/64 vs St Michaels Adelaide 1985. 2/15
 vs  Crown 2006.

BEST CRICKETING MOMENT - Since moving to Canada definitely making 100 against Edmonton ranks right up
there  along with one of my best opening partnership moments which was definitely putting on over 200 runs
with  Trevor against Cowichan CC in Shawnigan Lake Vancouver Island before drinks the only downside to that
was  that neither I nor Trevor went on to get our tons.

BEST MOMENT FOR GLENMORE CC - Carrying my bat in the first game of last season was one of my best
 Glenmore  cricketing moments.

FAVOURITE GROUND - Victoria Park in Edmonton and North Vancouver CC (how can you go past a full bar
and  proper clubhouse facilities like pool table, darts and big screen TV with a balcony overlooking the two
 grounds)

LEAST FAVOURITE GROUND - Inland Small seriously that pitch is a disaster and zero amenities with concrete and
rocks breaking through the ground, it’s not exactly cricketing paradise.

BEST THING ABOUT GLENMORE CC - I moved to Glenmore because there was the most diversity of cultures in
any  team I had seen in Calgary. At the time there was South African, Sri Lankan, Australian, New Zealand,
England,  Scotland, India, Pakistan and the West Indies. It’s great to have a pint after the game and enjoy
cricket played  hard but fair with great team spirit on and off the field.

ONE THING YOU WOULD CHANGE ABOUT CALGARY CRICKET - Stop the empire building and selfish agendas and
work  on Calgary cricket for the sake of cricket. Given the history cricket has in Calgary it’s disgraceful that
the  clubhouse at Riley park is a shambles and the pitches have degraded to a level that makes them
almost  unplayable, not to mention the nets which were allowed to degrade to a point that they became
completely non  functional last year. Looking at other clubs in Canada like North Vancouver, Beacon Hill,
Cowichan and even  Kelowna and Edmonton who have decent club houses the latter of which even worked
hard enough to put in a  turf wicket it’s embarrassing how bad the facilities are in Calgary.

ALL TIME FAVOURITE CRICKETER - Adam Gilchrist for the way he is as a player and a person. Watched him tear
Sri  Lanka apart in the World Cup in Barbados wow what an innings.

OTHER SPORTING HEROES - Don Bradman, Jarome Iginla, Shane Warne, Glen McGrath

GOALS FOR THE 2012 SEASON - Have my best season with the bat period. Including tours etc my goal is 500 runs
 in 2012.

BIGGEST INFLUENCE IN CRICKET - The Lillee, Marsh, Chappell era inspired me to become decent at cricket
despite  not being naturally gifted like my brother.

FAVOURITE FOOD - Filet steak prepared medium rare with a plump lobster medallion topped with shaved
truffles  and Morelle mushrooms with a side of grilled asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes

FAVOURITE DRINK - A really good bottle of wine. No, wait...a frosty pint after a game. No no no, a warming
dram  by the fire with a nice cigar. Ok, all of the above!

FAVOURITE MUSIC - Everything from stirring classical to thumping rock and swinging Jazz. Long drives on
tour  with endless reggae is great too.

FAVOURITE FILM - Too many to add here if I feel like bawling my eyes out then Awakenings gets me every
time.  Shawshank redemption is also awesome and of course the Lord of the Rings trilogy is a must and I’m a
serious nerd at heart so Science Fiction is a fav. I really enjoyed Serenity.

ANYTHING ELSE TO ADD - As we rebuild the Glenmore club I hope that everyone can work together to make
this  the most sought after social club in Calgary. Let’s play the best cricket we can but at the same time
continue to  be a model for sportsmanship and enjoyment of the game.
