On Saturday night the greatest minds of Glenmore CC convened at the Joyce on 4th for the annual club quiz night. It was another full house for this traditional season curtain raiser, which meant we raised almost $400 for the club. Massive thanks must be given to Heather Smith for organising the event, and to Deanna Kelly for collecting all the fantastic prizes. 

The competition was fierce but once again the team of BJ Wolstenholme, Rebecca Wolstenholme, Jonathan Smith and Heather Smith took home the spoils despite the best efforts of team Honywood. The Smith/Wolstenholme foursome were put under some serious pressure this year but held on for yet another victory.

Earlier in the evening there had been some controversy when an Australian cricket team captain was caught cheating. After initially denying the allegation Michael Hooke eventually reached into his pants to pull out a piece of sandpaper with the answers written on. A heinous crime, but the sort of behaviour we've come to expect!

We thank everyone who came along to support the club. We hope a good time was had by all and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
